Due to COVID-19, we have no in-person workshops planned, but are looking into what we can do virtually. If the pandemic issues subside by early 2021, we would like to begin the year with “Planning a Docudrama”. A docudrama, like the term suggests, is a combination of the elements of both drama as well as a documentary.
The course will cover some basic writing skills necessary to produce a docudrama. Participants, either as individuals or in groups, will choose a topic that they will research. They will create characters, setting, dialogue, etc. ending with the production of a short videos based on their scripts.
