In other news, NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is in full swing. We started the month with a panel on ‘How We Plan A Novel’ with Joan Thomas and Margaret Sweatman. We had a full house and they were very informative and entertaining. We will have the ArtSpace Boardroom (424-100 Arthur Street) open each weekend in November from 10-4, Saturdays and Sundays, if you want a quiet place to write. There is no charge and you don’t have to be signed up for NaNoWriMo, although it is encouraged. All writers are welcome. At the end of the month, once you’ve written that novel (or whatever) and want to learn about Copyright Law and Publishing Contracts, we will have an info session at 10:00 am on November 30, in the Boardroom. Afterwards, if anyone wants to share what they wrote during the month, we would love to hear you read from it until 4:00 pm.
On December 6th at 7:00 pm in the ArtSpace Boardroom, if you are interested in Writing Groups, come and listen to people who run, or have run, writing groups. You will learn how they work and if you are looking for a group to join, we hope there will be like-minded folks that would love to share their work with you and help you with yours.
