Sigh … it always sounds like I am boasting when I write my bio. Got a Computer Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan in the mid-80′s. After some career turbulence I ended up teaching technical courses to IT professionals. In the late 1990′s was approached by New Rider’s Publishers (an imprint of Pearson Educational Publishing) to write part of a book. This turned into 4 more, published between 1999 and 2003 (I think) and translated into 5 languages. Total sales exceed 50,000 copies.
Now I am working on my first “real” nonfiction book, “What I Learned from Cancer.” Set to be published in summer of 2014, my KickStarter campaign to elicit backing for printing is set to launch in April 2014.

If you want to see me in person I’d love to chat. You can find me most days in the corner of Starbucks (by the only electrical outlet) on Panet Road, next to the Safeway. I’m the one in the hat.
